I want to study in an abroad university on Scholarship
I am Kamran from Lahore Pakistan. I am a student of BBA 2nd year enrolled in 4 years BBA Program in Pak Aims university. I have a dream of studying abroad, want to do some BS Program in IT or Business and IT, and ofcourse I do have potential. But the major problem I am facing at the moment is Finance. Since I belong to a middle class family, Studying abroad is not affordable for me at this time.
My university is giving an opportunity to transfer the credit hours to Bedfordshire University Luton. But the problem is that I am unable to bear the university fees. I am sure that I’ll be able to bear my expenses while doing a job over there, Once I reach. So I request pkstudent.com to provide their feedback about this.

Transfer during undergraduate programs on full scholarship is usually very hard. Also transferring from BBA program into BS-IT program abroad will also waste a lot of your credit hours. Most of the universities require you to complete atleast 2 years in their universities before they can issue you an undergraduate degree.
If its your dream to study abroad I would advise you to work really hard in your bachelors. Maintain a good GPA. Appear for standardized test (GRE, TOEFL – You can find information about them under educational resources section of the website).
At the end of your 3rd year you can apply for Fulbright Scholarship and other HEC Scholarships. If you have a good academic background you can also request for TA-ship and RA-ship in universities. Its a bit easy to get a scholarship for the Masters degree provided you have a good academic background as compared for undergraduate transfer.
Thank you for replying. Another thing I wanted to ask is that usually BS-IT is of 2 years if I am not wrong, so still my 2.5 years are remaining in my BBA program, so wont it be better to spend 2 years in BS-IT ? If it is possible to transfer the existing credit hours .. I am just confused.
or I think I should complete my BBA here, then should move abroad for MS or MBA. What you suggest ?

I am a bit confused as well. If you are more interested in IT then why are you going for BBA degree?
Also BS-IT is not of 2 years. All good universities have 4 years of undergraduate degree so I am afraid that if you will try to transfer the credits you will lose credit hours.
However, I would advise you to consult in your own university if its possible for you to change from BBA program to BS-IT program. If yes, then how many credit hours will be wasted.
In case you plan to go ahead with your BBA program, I would advise you not to transfer during your undergraduate degree. Try to maintain a good GPA, learn from the classes and then apply for different scholarships available at HEC website and Fulbright to get into a good graduate school.

Sir i have did B.Com from University of Punjab and currently doing MBA from University of Management and Technology Lahore, Pakistan, My Bechalors was of 2 years thats why i was unable to get admission in any good university in MBA. my MBA is wholly consist of 3 years and from which i have completed 1 years till now and i want to join a uk business college or univeristy in BBA or in Bussiness Matsters Porgram or Continue MBA on scholarlarship as its quit expensive but i want a qaulity degree which meant alot to me, i have completed 36 credit hours and in the end of jan 2010 i will be completing 15 more credit hours, my current CGPA is 3.42..
