PhD options for a Biotech Grad



This is Mateen from Karachi University; I just passed out my M.Sc in Biotechnology with distinctive marks. Before doing Masters I was employed by a leading Oil & Gas exploration company. When I heard that intellectual people of Pakistan is considering Biotech would be the best profession in near future I left the job and started study again.

Now, as I completed my masters I am feeling ashamed on my decision to quit a good job as there is no job of biotech in Pakistan. Now I am looking for a Ph.D scholarship abroad. Can anybody guide me regarding getting admission in Germany & Sweden to get my Ph.D done. I am not looking to HEC as nowadays their funds are also restricted by new rulers.

I appreciate any kind of information which will guide me.

    Dear Dr..
    .I am hind hameed khudhair AL- Darkazli from Iraq .I hold a master degree in the field of Biotechnology from Baghdad University about the effect of low power laser on Microorganisms infecting root canals using photo sensitizers and currently I work in a center for pharmacology research. I have good experience in extraction and purification of antibiotic and additional materials in drugs from industrial microorganisms . I shall work hard if I get an opportunity to do Phd.

    Recently I have passed MSc degree in Biotechnology from BZU,Multan,Pakistan.I have worked on the null genotype frequency of two cancer related genes GSTM1& GSTT1 in Pakistani populations .I am looking for scholarship for PhD in biotech/genetic engineering.But till to this Iam not availing any one,and also have no proper guideline regarding this.Some one can guide me ???????/Amir Khattak…….
