Masters degree without GRE

I am a FAST-NU graduate of 2006 and have been with an IT job ever since. Now I want to try to get admission abroad in Masters in Computer Science, preferably from Canada. I have taken up IELTS (7.5 overall, 7.5 R,W,L and 6.5 S) and have also visited Canada in summer of 2008. From the research I have done personally so far, it appears as if one can only get admission there if she/he has taken up GRE. I want to get your opinion in this matter and what are my chances of securing an admission there?

One more thing my graduating CGPA was 2.73 and I haven\’t  taken GRE yet and chances of sitting one soon are pretty slim too.

Thanks in advance
