    a/salam..
    im glade to say that my younger brother abid just completed his MBBS from the Xinjiang Medical University.
    the good thing abt that university is that its located near Pakistan border..even bus services available from pak to china and viceversa ..and another thing is that its a Muslim area..and many Pakistanis and other nationals study in there..
    But recently they hv made few changes for foreign tudent.. my brother completed his mbbs in 5 years but now it will b complete in 6 years ..i dono y they xtend the period..and 2nd thing they hv increased fee also..

    6 yr MBBS program
    1st yr language. (chinese)
    HSSC score >>>no limit confirmed yet(as int. collage dont knw the limit
    you have to pay $8000 first (may be more as last yr junior paid that much )
    language not confirmed (english or chinese)

    Salam. Scholarship of xinjiang medical university but its in chinese language. and also have self finance so i think self Finance is better its english medium. And this university also registered by PM & DC so no need give additional exam for license in pakistan.

    helo arwah and all the above students its fake that u can get scholarship in the xinjiang mu these days coz of urumqi riots the agents will mislead you okey dnt trust them tehy will tell u you have got addmission in the xinjiang mu and when u will come here they will take u to some other non lited universities dnt ever trust blindly these agents coz this incident has happened to alot of my freinds if u want i can help u all but trust me its really difficult to find scholar- ship here if u want scholarship than u should apply through the higher education commission than they will tell u what to do okey but if u lot want to go on self finance than i can help u on the original fee almost acceptable to everyone whichever university u want ok contact me on

    faraz look if ur really interested in scholarship u should consult the higher education comission they will tell u if they have seats in chinese medical universities coz everyyear the chinese govt gives some seats to alot of countries in different universities

    wassalam hasnat how r u i hope u re fine well these days the circumstances at xinjiang medical university are very crucial u cant make call coz ur not allowed to call the university will keep ur passport and u know its really a mess if u ask me what is ur choice i would definitely say no to xinjiang medical university its amongst the worst medical colleges in the china for foriegn students okey well its upo to u now if u dnt believe me they are going to expell 50 students very soon dnt be in hurry okey may ALLAH help us all

    I have read views of different people regarding the latest situation. I am sure its not such an alarming condition as is being shown by some persons.Recentle a group of students has reached Xinjiang medical University where they have started their language classes. Its true that at the moment the phone call from Pakistan to XMU is not so easy but, even the, the call can be made but with a little consistency,continuous efforts and especially at mid night.The main plus point of this university is its recognition by PM&DC. This university is one of the seven universities of China recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.So getting admission in XMU will not be an Unwise decision by any student.

     Dear friendz..
     Currently I have no contact number of the office..
     But the adress is up there..
     The scholarship is not totally free in Xinjiang Medical University.
     The scholarship fees of Xinjiang Medical University is almost 8,000$ of 5 years (as compared to normal fees of 5100$ per year) and i think that its a good pakage.
     @ Maddy i dont think that there is any option of 10,000 yuans per year scholarship..

     i agree with waseem… every one is experiencing the same. there is no proper education system.if u want to b a doctor the do not waste ur money and time in china..and do not believe the agents ..when u will need help there will b no one to help u..dont trust this scholarship so stop wasting time here on this forum .agents do charge 100% extra fee than the actual..so please think about ur future.. most of the students in china regret now and advice the juniors to stay away from chinese universities..

     miss sobia unfortunately u’ll have to change ur field..study something else..no one in the world will offer u free studies on medicine ..so if u got admission in bio technology u should go for it..dont ever trust of these fake ads..forget this and go for bio technology..just like u hundreds of students have interest in medical studies but they couldn’t despite of having very very good results in intermediate..concentrate on bio technology and think about ur future..dont ever think about the study in china even if any of u can afford it.. regards.

     these all scholarships are fake ..so dont believe any one ..chinese govt offers scholarships but u will have to pay 5000 – 6000 dollars to some agent for the acceptance of the scholarship otherwise u can not get that scholarship..but i dont know if that scholarship will continue for the whole 5 years period or u will have to pay again ..how namy marks have u got?? there are lot of medical students how get good very good marks but can not get admission into medical college of pak even they have money to pay tution of any medical college..because the 40 reserved seats for open merit are filled on recommendations and other 60 seats r filled on the name of overseas pakistani and foreign nationals because they pay more.. no one in the world will offer u a scholarship for the undergraduate medical studies..chinese govt offers scholarship for every field of study but u need to pay to agents otherwise u cant get that scholarship..i was offered this above scholarship but they asked me to pay 10000 dollars..i think u need not to pay such amount for the medical studies in china ..we can only suggest u all guys ..what is better for u and what u should choose is ur own decision… regards

     eid mubarek to all there is no scollarship at all how it is possible that 60% isconsidered as hardly passed and he is elligible for schollarship amzing hunt of students from the agents.if there is any scollarship that is through proper channel and that is ministry of education or foreigh office edu attachi.i was having 91% and was promised for scollarship in xmu by an agent.and first i was told that u pay only five thousand dollars which i paid in second year they took another same amount that could not achieve the required marks means ninty% plus how it is possible that some one like xmu will get these marks where annual exam are not allowed because you have to appear for supply in that way they are able to snach some more yuan from the students. please i rquest from all the students dont go for china.agents are advised not to spoil the future of pakistani nation for god sake .

     thank you very much for taking my criticism positively..but u know very well that this discussion is about this scholarship.u have mentioned shandong here and u must be aware that shandong is far more expensive .and if i say that shandong is is one of three most expensive universities of the china..if u r suggesting them to go to shandong why shouldn’t they get a place here in pakistan against overseas seat. my brother i m not ashamed by giving them my opinion.. i have also been cheated by these agents..so be realistic.. u by urself tell them the standard.who should these students believe in??they will make their own choice but they should know the facts and the problem they’ll face there.and i m not forcing them not to decide to go china.i m just telling them my own experience..and i don’t have any thing to get from them..

     i am from xian jiaotong medical university which is recognized by Pmdc. regarding to scholarship here in XMU
     i think this is true,there are some students who pay at first nearly 10,000 dollars and they told me after that no fee for remaining five years , but i think if you get this so called scholarship then it is better as compared to studying totally on self finance scheme (tuition fee 5400 dollar per year ) for those students who want to be doctor and they have no chance to get admission in pakistan (private medical colleges)

     all pmdc registered university in china do not accept migration . you have to start from the beginning ,i do not know about your school whether you study Chinese for one year or not, you can join pmdc recognized university but you need to start from first semester of medicine

     dear students~!~listed and non listed univ has no any importnace,just fee deffrence,other every one`ve to take exam.
     just care ab the cheap one university and that should be near Beijing at least,cause your any problem of 5 years can be solve there with pretty way.
     3rd that univ should be have already foreign students nothing else.
     better for each one to get scholarship cause every university and the main co-ordintor of that univ can give you scholarship.
     and it`s true there are scholarship but different categories as full scholarship,partial scholarship and so on scholarships even on the name of the scientist or named any great history person of that university so don`t be kinds,you know here same messges are being sent by the same person.

     first of all . i am not deceiving any students . 2nd yes there is 3 kind of scholarship one is csc , another scholarship also csc but university scholarship and university or provenical scholarship . so dont spread rumor to tell students no scholarships , if u have no information . yes i am graduate of china . and also i can say standard of teaching is not good as pakistan but facilty and the hospitals standard far better than pakistan . and i am not practicing because i am doing my master . and consultancy i doing in my free time .because i dont need much time to do this work as part-time . so please if you have no information then dont blame other . not every person is corrupt.

     i know about these scholarships. first thing for csc u have to apply between jan and april through chinese embassy n i guarantee u wont b able to get that scholarship for mbbs. they give this scholarship mainly to language students n some pg student n most of them would b from uiml.
     the other csc is for those who perform extraordinary in first year of mbbs in one of those 30 odd listed uni.n i think that would b only one or two awards.
     n the provincial scholarships r just disgusting solely on uni recommendation u would never b recommended on merit basis.
     the quality of hospitals u talking about is useless for the international med students! whats the benefit of that quality if none of the uni let u go to hospitals for clinical rotations??where in pak u do clinicals for three years but in china for maximum of one year! i dont spread rumorz dr. qasim i just want u to tell em truth.
     i have been there as med student.dont spoil their future to compensate ur own losses.n if there is any full scholarship let me know im very passionate to study medicine.otherwise just tell them what it is like to study in china.

     What an innocent people in Pakistan. These, pakistani studentsin China are very stupid that they are there, now making another stupid like them. In china medicine is second to stupid. I went there and have seen their stuies. I am UK qualified and additionally Pakistani qualification I have. But china, no no no , never go there.

     No anyone is helping each other in China. They, will take money even from their mother to cheat.

     If any one want help in the UK, I can guid them. No need to pay me or anyone. You just need ILETS band 7 each. UKCAT average score 700, FSC or A level first division and university fee now a days average £15000 per year.

     most of pakistani students have f.sc qualifications they dont have A- levels..and if they have have f.sc they will have to do a one year foundation course in u.k in order to get admission for medicine (MB ChB). foundation prog is aroun £14000 which is enough to do whole 5 year medical prog in pakistan in a private medical college .and then first 2 pre clinical years are the same price each year. while the last 3 clincal years are aroun £25000 each year. in total you should have £120,000 just for the tuition in U.k for the medicine. there is no doubt that it will pay you return much higher but in the first place you should have enough money to bear these expenses with you living expenses which are very very high…and if they have that money it means they are rich enough and they wont need your help anyway..and if they are doing foundation course here they do not need to take UKCAT.

     And for those who r supporting chinese for whatever it is cheap or what ever..this is just useless to spoil your future on your own money whether it is more or less. so please dont waste your time ..

     Listen if u aplly for any student then no doubt you are helping him but tell me 1 thing that how you will fix his matters with ministery of education and in getting his visa application form?
     Can you help any student if he has any problem later during his studies?
     Do you have powers to solve his problems?
     No doubt there are some agents that cheat students but also there are sone consultants not agenmts who have contract with the university and ministry of education who authorizes them to solve the problems of students.
     They have powers and authority to deal with officials regarding the problems of students and that is the reason that consultants charge the fee because they facilitate the students throughout their study period.
     So bro it is my request to you that please dnt do things which are beyond your approach.No doubt that you can arrange admission of student but this is not the end of proess there are many other steps which need to be complete can you also handle those matters? So bro dnt mind just think a lil bit .

     THERE IS NO SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE IN CHINESE UNIVERSITIES FOR MEDICAL STUDIES ON NDERGRADUATE LEVEL EXCEPT CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP, and that is almost impossible to get that. chinese government scholarship is mostly offered to post graduate students and to language students of UIML.
     so just forget about the scholarship and try in Pakistan and if you dont get admission in there just try to go into a different field if you can’t afford to study medicine…just dont waste your time.. i have waste 4 years of my life for medicine . i was not a dumb stuent at all. i had got good marks and good results in entrance tests as well.. but i can only suggest you is not to waste your time and try some other field. you can apply again n again for medical if you think you can get admission but don’t waste your time and keep studying something on one hand and you can take entry test of medical colleges next year again…

     go check the merit lists of Quaid e Azam uni , Punjab university for pharmacy , bio medical , bba etc u will see people with more than 900 marks will be there and most of them come from pre medical.
     even if you’re going to china on self finance dont expect that you’re going there for years.. now there one compulsory year for chinese language so there is 6 years to study medicine but to get mbbs degree u got to spend one more on your internship..

     there is nothing in china for medical studies except fun.. go and pay your fees and just have fun.
     dont worry about study. you will get reviews at the end of semester, they will give you 10 to 20 questions you have to prepare that and you will get your paper from those questions, so whats the point of studying whole syllabus????
     you can easily get more than 90%.

     but one thing i am sure about is that this scholarship is FAKE. and those who r claiming to provide you scholarships are also FAKE.
     chinese govt has listed 30 universities for foreign students , and one best student every year is given scholarship from those universities on university recommendation. only one student.

     other universities’ students are also given scholarship by provincial govt on uni recommendation but u can never sure that uni will recommend you. admin mmostly rely on class representatives , who will always pull the good students down..

     and those scholarships are not available for the first year. so u can’t take risk if you think you can’t afford on self finance.

     there is no full scholarship for medicine in u.k as it’s very very expensive and also the length of programme.. there was a full scholarship for pakistani students offered by Cambrige on their anniversary for medicine..and that scholarship was based on the entrance tests that u would have taken for pakistani medical colleges and i think that was also for those candidates who have done A- Levels s they don’t accept F. Sc as admission critria for undergraduate programmes in any field.. and in U. K per year fee is more than £13000 for pre clinical and about £25000 for clinical years .. so u can imagine how expensive it is.. and this is just the tuition fee ..

     I am a student of MBSS in Pakistan but could not continue my studies due to some personal reasons.I have applied for migration but it seems difficult.Can anyone help me to get thru this problem or suggest a scholarship program (as I am in public sector medical college)in any foreign university so that I could complete medical education.
