Hi guys,
I just came across pkstudent.com … great job!
Guys I need your help regarding the decision making for my future studies….
My Education:
FSc. Pre Engineering –Session 02-03
B.A. Jour,Punjabi,Persian –Session 09
I am interested in MBA but don’t know if I should do it (considering present situation) from some local university or go abroad, I feel like lost… please help me decide. And also let me know if there are any scholarships I can apply for and if there are any options other than MBA.
Your help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well I would recommend that you get a couple of years of work experience before you actually go for your MBA.
MBA is a management degree and you must be/or about to get into a managerial position.
Well that I have already been working in a private company for last 18 months…
Just wanna know the best option for me either Pakistan/Abroad and best course/discipline..
guys please help if anyone can. Thanks.
It is usually very hard to get scholarship for MBA and it usually cost around 10,000-12,000 Pounds on average if you attend an MBA program in a decent university anywhere in the world. If you can afford that then that’s great.
If you want to live and work in Pakistan then its better that you try to get into IBA or LUMS MBA programme. Both LUMS/IBA MBA has great reputation in the Middle East and will help you get interview calls from leading companies.
Thanks alot Younas… dude none of this seems possible..
What about some other disciplines like Journalis/IR Stusies etc.. any disciplines one can apply for after doing the B.A.
Is it worth doing such degree?
Adeel,
If I were you I will try to get some relevant work experience first and after that will go for an MBA. Going for an MBA right after your bachelors degree is usuaully not preferred and doesn’t help much.
Thanks Younas… I really appreciate the help.
