Can I do ACCA or CA after BBA
I am a student of FSc. pre engineering. Now I believe is the most important time of my life; the choice of my career. i have applied to several universities in a lot of disciplines which also includes BBA. now suppose if i get admission in BBA would i be able to do ACCA or CA afterwards? instant reply would be relieving.

ya yr you can do but i thnk if u want to do acca or ca after bba thn its better to chose acca now.
Assalam o alaikum. it’s like this . there’s a person i know who is doing CA and ACCA simultaneously. is it even humanly possible and if it is then what is the distinction?
Khuram,
Yes you can do both of them together. ACCA can be done before CA and once you are done with ACCA you can take additional courses to finish CA.
well that’s a relief… thanks
ya u can do ACCA after BBA ….i have compl my BBA and doing ACCA and have already given 3 papers of ACCA i have started ACCA in my final year of BBA ……
i have passed ma i.com ezamz now i want to do bba its ma request to u all that please give me some instructions about bba i want to know da subjects held in bba is this easy or difficult degree i am not hardworking student but i want to achieve ma goal.
Yes you can do CA after u do BBA. If u BBA simple i.e of two years then u will not appear in three paper of CA. Two paper form Module A and One paper from Module B.
bro if u r doing BBA then there is no need for ACCA. after doin BBA u can go for CA. but if u want to do CA it is better to chose ACCA .
If you want to do four year undergraduate in Malaysia, do contact me. This four year undergraduate (including business, management, accounting or economics) will be free of cost. Its an scholarship. The scholarship includes free tution, free accommodation and a monthly stipend provided that student should maintain minimum level of CGPA per semester which I think not difficult in overseas universities.

AOA. i thank all of u guys out there who showed their concern regarding the issue initiated by me. As for leaving a comment is concerned , i think that a person who has done M.Com should have no problem in doing BBA but all wha matters is how u do it. if you do it with some sort of distinction then u will have the upper hand everywhere. that’s all . thanks
my last comment was meant for Bilal

good question
the only reason people do bba acca mba ca is to get good money
ACCA association of certified chartered accountancy is very hard , cuz its United Kingdom degree and majority of people couldnt even complete four year ACCA. Two Modules of ACCA makes a BS degree from brookes university oxford and four modules makes MBA. Two moduler can have 16 – 25000 rs job.
CA is chartered accountancy but Pakistani. Good that in 3rd year of CA students earn . But all the CA I know have taken more than four years to complete them.
MBA BBA is business administration. This is a great degree cuz very few BBA are jobless. In times to come it is not be great value but a good GPA makes earning. With confidence a bold student of affiliated university bba can step over any Recognized university 4.0 GPA student. The shy and low grade students take BBA to no use and some which do the confidence in them come from project work, class presentation and atmosphere. MBA done by the aged people can go in drain because MBA helps only when one has a job not much to get a job.
BSCS bachelor of sciences in computer science is a degree with accounts economics programming calculus math business sbjects but bscs is in fact the general group of intermediate. BS in CS has very few students. Bad GPA of BS in CS devalues it. About ninety percent don’t get job of the study they had done in this field. But if one gets a good GPA in this field he can go in some engineering fields , banks , companies and also computer fields also.
my suggestion is All people target at the work you do after graduation and failures target at the amount of money they can earn years later. There is always B.Com .
BBA B.Com (pvt\reg) saath saath perhna kaisa rahey ga ?
salam to all frndz.
ma na icom pass kia ha.
ab ma ca karna chata hu.
koi mujy ca ki admition kay bary ma information day.
aur fee kay bary ma b khuch batye
Hi im adil from Rawalpindi, Pakistan…i have done BA then MBA(Human Resource Management) with 3.4 CGPA/4.00 from peshawar university…i want to do CA on basis of MBA now…..
can i do it????
how long it CA will take
and from where can i do CA….
Asalam o alaikum. thank you all for making this question of mine into a full-fledged forum for accountancy and business professions. Adil, You certainly can be a Chartered accountant after doing your MBA. Actually I myself am considering this option myself too. If you have done Bachelor’s or Master’s now then you will Insha Allah be exempted from 2 of 6 Modules in Pakistani CA. But since you have Masha Allah related yourself to Management Skills already, you should also consider becoming a CIMA Associate instead. CIMA stands for Chartered Institute of Management Accountancy. Hope this satisfies your need. Thank you for considering us worthy of your question. Allah Hafiz
For me to tell you where you can do your CA (Pakistani) depends upon where you are residing. It does not matter from where you do it, all what matters is that you do it from an ICAP approved tuition Center, Like SKANS school of accountancy and PAC (Professional Academy of Commerce).
Asalam o alaikum. Touseef, Sorry to keep you waiting. Congratulations on your Passing the I.COM. Masha Allah. If you are considering to go for chartered accountancy then you have loads of options, either you can do ACCA , CIMA, BBA , Bachelor’s & Master’s and even CA itself. All the mentioned lines or tracks can ultimately lead to complete CA qualification. But since you have just asked about CA and I presume that you mean Pakistani CA, then i should tell you that you can go to any ICAP approved tuition provider you want to, according to your own convenience. Financially it is one of the cheapest qualifications there are. Each Modules could cost you upto about 30,000 rupees and there are six modules in total but you only have to pay for first four Modules, because Insha Allah you shall get a job along with the fifth and sixth module.

actually im asking this because i completed my MBA in 2008…and so far i couldnt get a single decent job of even :Rs10000 not even data entry..i dont know why women and refference is preffed in pakistan which i dont have…im so dissapoinded till now and after this new stupid government, i have no hope left..
im going to sweden to do bechlors in accounting…and then ill decide what to do…but my hope from this country is gone now, i live in rawalpindi for 7 years now..and i have searched jobs everywhere, even islamabad…but organization culture here in pakistan from my observation is 80% women and 20% men working….and the people who are selected are either close friends or relatives which is a shame….
i got silver medal from peshawar university in 2008 and now i wish i kill those teachers who pushed me to choose HRM and told lies abt this field and its demand…now i realize that it was just a bluff and a tactic to takeout money from student…..
Asalam o alaikum. Buddy going to Sweden is an excellent idea especially if you can. Well this is true that the number of jobs in Pakistan have been downsized. And normally when all of us speak about the career perspective we don’t mean Just for Pakistan, what we mean is actually for the global perspective. and I hope that if you get your Dream job real soon. Allah Hafiz
Blaming to Teachers is A Crime in my dictionary. We can always do better. it is up to us to change our line of actions.
yr bba kiya hai is k liyay kon si degree hona zarori hai aur is se pakistan main hum kiya income recieve krty hain
m doing bba and after that i want to take further studies from abroad suggest me some courses what i can do except mba.
Asalam o alaikum. Well there is no questioning about what your average salary could be. It all depends on your performance. If you know what i Mean…
yr average income kiya hai bba ki
if you read my comments again, you will find that even fresh M.PHIL students are not getting jobs of even 10000Rs without experience, then how come mba or bba students get a job first, i have done MBA with CGPA 3.4 silver medal and its been more than 2 years now i havent found any job,i have taken about 36 interviews in different companies sofar…..its better to get out of this countery as soon as posible without waisting your money here……
if i do lcci after i can do bba then mba no cat or acca
if i do lcci after that i can do bba then mba no cat or acca
Asalam o alaikum. Sorry i don’t think that is possible. but if you have already done your intermediate then i am sure you can get admission in the BBA Program.
I am thinking of doing BBA and ACCA simultaneoulsy..
Is it practically possible?
Asalam o alaikum. Sure i guess so… but that will be very hard. you can study for the ACCA exams in the semester breaks you will have. but i will recommend that you wait and find out how many holidays you will have after your semesters.
Walaikum As Salam.
Well i know i have a wrong believe but i think that apart from getting a BBA degree from IBA or LUMS its not worth it , i have like 80% of my cousins who are either doing BBA or have done it ( none from IBA or LUMS ) , And i see none of them getting a very proper job .
Nowadays whoever you ask , what are you doing , the reply is BBA , Everyone is going for it , so if i am like doing it , BBA is a 4 year program and in that 4 year period there are 8 sessions of ACCA examinations and in ACCA you have to appear for 14 papers , so like 2 exams every 6 months and suppose if there is some difficult paper i can appear for just 1 in that session..
What do you think?
Is it possible to clear the ACCA papers along side maintaining a say 2.8 GPA in BBA (Apart from LUMS or IBA) ?

well basically the thing is that a university earns its reputation by producing worthy graduates per annum. so therefore for having a good job university matters but only in this regard. so this is the very reason why i believe that if i am not able to get admission into the best institute then mind as well go for the best qualification i.e. CA , ACCA , CIMA , ICMAP etc.
i have passed my module A,B,C,D and E of CA (ICAP) and doing articles from KPMG Taseer Hadi & co.. but i now think that MBA is better than CA.. and thinking to quit CA and shift in to MBA.. WHAT YOU SUGEST
I hav completed my a levels and want to go abroad lyk the US. I am interested in ACCA and CA. Can anyone plz plz plz tell me whats the better choice and if ACCA, doesnt its status of a “certified degree” kinda lowers down its value?
khuram bhai i just have done my b.a can i do acca in pakistan or in abroad?please do reply.
hi
salam. i pass my intermidiate examz.no i am intrested in ACCA. 9i want to do it from SKANZ COLLEGE. can some one tell me about ACCA.i heared that there is rare people who [ass it. plz tell me about this, i m so worry. -plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. me waitng for reply of any qualified. plz
Wa alaikum us Salam. Sorry for the delay. as for doing ACCA after B.A. , yes it is possible. And next for the comment number 2 , Well like all profession ACCA also requires perfection. now that does not mean that it is so difficult for me to say to you not to go for it in the first place. so many people are in this profession like in all the profession these days, nevertheless despite the recession , it is an excellent choice. as long as you do it well.
my mistake… i did not see that previous comments. the better choice between Chartered accountancy and Business administration can only be decided by a professional who has a better outlook to more aspects of the professions. the world requires expertise, not degrees or certified designations.
