Job Description:
We are looking for a Java/J2EE team lead, who would be responsible for:
§ The design and development of the assigned system functionality, monitoring and assisting team members following their progress.
§ Communicate with Off-shore client to finalize the project requirements.
§ Manage & mentor juniors
§ Code Review and Refactoring
§ The individual will report to the Project Manager
Skill Required:
§ 5+ Years of Experience in Java/J2EE Technologies with full Software Development Life-Cycle activities on Java project (analysis, design, construction, testing, deployment, support)
§ Strong knowledge in Java, JDBC, JNDI, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Tag libraries, JMS, JMX, JUnit, Log4j, XML, HTML
§ Have extensive hands-on Java experience of WebSphere Application Server or BEA Web Logic
§ Having experience in frameworks like STRUTS, SPRING, Hibernate or Toplink a major plus
§ Database experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server
§ Proficient in Web Services (SOAP/REST).
§ Good working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, SOA, Design Patterns and Enterprise Architectural Patterns
§ Understanding of LDAP/Directory (ApacheDS, Active Directory, OpenLDAP), Openfire;
§ Should be competent with various software programs, Like Rational Rose/Rational Application Developer, Eclipse IDE, Putty/SSH, Bash Shell, Microsoft Project.
§ Good understanding of system Designing & Flow (UML & DB Models)
§ Hands on experience of AIX or Solaris would be plus.
§ Self starter, should have good analytical and hands-on programming skills
§ Should have excellent communication skills to lead and coordinate with project team
§ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
