Guidelines
The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) consists of two sub programmes:
- The Academic Programme (NFP/AP) offering fellowship for long-term academic studies, leading to Masters and PhD degrees.
- The Training Programme (NFP/TP) offering fellowships for short-term courses and refresher courses.
Both NFP/AP and NFP/TP are open to mid-career professionals only (with several years working experiences in the relevant fields)
A candidate must not have received an NFP fellowship or any other fellowship in the three years prior to the start of the proposed programme (MA, SC or PhD).
Criteria for NFP/AP and NFP/TP
- Preference is given to female candidates.
- University students are no longer part of the target group.
- Catered for Mid Career professionals who are in employment.
- Applications for a fellowship will only be considered if candidates are nominated and supported by their employers who pledge that the candidate will continue to work at their working place upon their return in the country.
- Candidates must be proficient in language of instruction. A TOEFL or IELTS score is compulsory.
- Be in good health.
