MANAGER of FACILITIES – Prince Sultan Advanced Technologies Institute
Reporting to the Director for Operations, the Manager of Facilities is a key steward of PSATRI’s facilities, including buildings, structures, equipment, and machinery, and is responsible for the management and coordination of facilities services support, including planned, corrective, and preventive maintenance, facility assessment and usage, general construction, building care, grounds, and recycling.
Experience/Education Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, industrial technology, engineering, facilities management, physical plant management, business management, architecture, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• At least 7 years of maintenance, operations or construction experience with 3 years of facility management experience, preferably with research institutions. Experience encompassing facilities infrastructure management and maintenance for HVAC, compressed air systems, cooling and heating systems, water treatment, waste and recycling management, store room management, materials handling, safety equipment (forklifts, heavy equipment), roads and grounds, landscaping, janitorial services, etc.
• Experience managing laboratories and other research facilities highly desired
• Commercial and/or any licenses or certificates of training in trades of facility operations
