My name is Amjad Mahmood and i have completed my master’s in Commerce from University of the Punjab.I applied for MS in sweden and luckily i got admission in master’s in Accounting programme which would be equivalent to MS.I am confident to get resident permit but still worried about accomodation in Sweden. I belong to a middle family and I know cost of living is too much high in Sweden.I am a self made person so I have to bear all my epenses myself.Can you please help me about some affordable/shared accomodation in Sweden.

Well, I need your help regarding my higher studies.
I am a student of IBA doing BBA (second year). I want to purse a career in the field of finance particularly Investment Banking. Although I have decided the destination where I wanted to be in the near future but it’s extremely difficult to select the way that leads to it. Two options have entangled me, either to go for CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) after BBA or to do MBA in Finance from a good US university. Which option should I consider given the fact that I am a very good finance student (having CGPA of 3.4 at IBA) and wanted to settle abroad?
My parents are compelling me to go abroad for a specialized MBA but I am more fascinated by the CFA program offered by the Global Association of Investment Professionals.
Please help me in deciding which options would be good keeping in view the recent financial turmoil abroad and its consequences on the employment opportunities. .Waiting for your answers

i am from fast nu(computer science) ..i am an under graduate and want to transfer my credit hours in some good university of Sydney ,Australia..Some scholarship would be better ..i am in second year but some courses have GPA above 2.0 ..My performance here is very bad because i really dont like my university ..i have not given my final examination of this semester due to depression ..the teachers here are very rude and uncooperative …My final exams ..re mid terms (my mid terms were missed due to an uni event) and project proposals date were same and i got really really upset and didn’t gave the papers ..So the teachers are very uncooperative ..

i m planning to go U.k for BBA..I m already doing my BBA from Virtual university & i m in 5th semester.My consultant told me that they can exempt my 1 year n enable me 2 take admission directly in 2nd year of CECOS London college.
But I got to know that Cecos is offering BA(HONS) in business administration.n itz not a BBA.
So my queries are :
1) Is it ok if i go 4 BA(HONS)?..will i b able to get admission in MBA on da basis of BA(hons)? if not ,then wat degree i can opt for after doing my BA(HONS)?

my 1st question: If you hold bachelors degree in media sciences can you switch into psychology for masters? as they are totally different field or they ask for a bachelors degree in the field of social sciences or psychology.

Pakistani business schools offering MBA for IT people
i have applied for LUMS MBA programm but i am not sure if i will be getting admission this year or not.My survey of MBA institues convinced me to choose LUMS as my first choice but now i m in a dangling situation.I have seen LSE MBA programmes but i think that is good only for economics people and i with iT background can not relate MBA in marketing and finance with my current field whereas LUMS offers whole set of IT manamagement courses.LSE has no good courses on soft skills ,personality building no mathematics and analysis courses .all courses revolve around economics or finance or maketing.so my question is what other good institutes in pakistan have IT management discipline in their MBA program.and wud i b able to pass LSE interview with no economics background.also if any one can help about the LSE entry test questions.is it exactly like GMAT or LMAT or it has some different pattern.also if any one can share his interview experience at LSE to get some idea which set of skills they expect in candidates.

What would you describe as your weaknesses?
Probably the most dreaded question for interviewees. It is the employer examining self awareness but also to see if the interviewee has acted. My preferred strategy to handle this question is to minimise the emphasis on the weakness and turn it into a positive outcome. If possible steer clear of personal qualities and focus on professional aspect. For example: “I am continually working to enhance my presenting and communication skills and I recently joined Toastmasters which I find to be very beneficial.”
Why do you want to work for this company?
Have you though out this career move or are you applying a scattergun approach to job hunting? The interviewer need evidence that indicates you’ve put some thought into things and are not sending CV’s for the sake of it. Again effective preparation will have covered researching the company and identified reasons why you picked this company and role.
Why should we hire you?
This is a classic interview question and most interviewee mess up. Effective preparation should ensure that you know your product — YOU! Summarise your experiences, knowledge and skills in a clear and concise pitch. Remember to focus on information relevant to the employer and the role
Describe your career goals?
This one bugs me. It is probably better to focus on the short to medium term goals rather than ten years down the line. I guess an immediate goal is to secure this job!!
Explain why you left (you are you leaving) your current job?
Another certainty at interview. If you have been made redundant then try and put a positive spin on thing and don’t fall into the negativity trap. If you are in employment put the focus on what the next job will offer and how this was missing from your current job. Again be positive about current or previous employers.
When were you most satisfied in your job?
Basically this is asking what motivates you. Certainly your motivations should align with what is on offer in the current role.
What make you different?
What makes you stand out from the other applicants? Portray your USP (unique selling points) in a clear concise manner. Put a bit of though into this as we all have great experience and skills.
What salary are you seeking?
Treat this like a game of poker. Even if you have a defined figure try to make the employer tell you what the range is. Answer a question with a question. “What salary would a role like this pay in your organisation?” By the way if you have a set figure and this figure is very important to you then feel free to say it.
