Given below is an update for all those pakistani students who are waiting for their USA and UK student visas.

UK Student Visa

Though many students are still waiting for their visas to join British universities for Fall semester, some of the students have now started getting their visas approved from British Embassy. One such student got his visa approved yesterday (Sept 26, 2008) and has thanked us for our services.

We are hopeful that many others who are still waiting for their visas will be hearing from British embassy in the coming week.

USA Student Visa

A large number of students have been waiting for their US student visa for more than two months. The situation got worse after recent announcement by  US embassy to suspend their visa services in Pakistan. See detailed news here.

Our advice

Do not panic. Many universities let their incoming students defer their admissions for one or two semesters. We strongly advice you to contact international office in your university in US to get more information about their policies in this regard.

We will update this website as soon as we will have further information on this.

Meanwhile for all those students who need help with their visa cases, graduates and undergraduates admission please contact us here.

Sir/Madam,

I introduce myself as a geophysicist(oil & gas exploration) and has received this US FULBRIGHT scholarship. I work in OGDC and I am not sure IF I should go to US, leaving my job.

I was reading this profile of Mr. Jehanzeb who was a Fulbrighter and ended up working in US. I have the following queries:
1. IS it possible to work after doing masters on Fulbright. I have got the j1 visa, but I haven’t gone abroad yet?

2. After coming back to Pakistan, can I go back to any other country, please note that I am not on HEC/FULBRIGHT program, I am on simple fulbrght program (they have taken undertaking for us to return to Pakistan on 100 Rs stamp paper) but no bond was signed (i’m no sure if that is a bond)

Your assistance will be appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Salman

AOA,

Well I want to share my experience with u guys. I graduated in BSc Electrical engineering from the USA in 2005. My concentration is in telecom

I was very interested in coming back to Pakistan. Unfortunately I have not been able to get any job in telecom area in Lahore.  So I’ve basically haven’t done anything since 2005.

I was so much disappointed in coming back to Pakistan but could not go back due to finance problem. Then I started doing MBA from GC University in 2007.

I am still not sure what to do … Being a US graduate I am free and could not get job …

Thanks
Imran
