Requirements and Information of Student Visa for Sweden

Non – US countries ( Pakistan, India, China etc etc ) should complete the following documents to get the visa of Sweden.
Visa Requirements

  • TDS is not able to assist with expediting visas for Sweden at the present time. Most applicants are required to appear in person to obtain a visa. The following documents should be submitted by each applicant:
  • 1 Visa Application Form, completed and signed
  • Passport – valid at least 3 months beyond stay
  • 2 Passport-type photographs required
  • U.S. Resident Alien Card
  • Airline tickets or confirmed itinerary
  • Proof of sufficient funds
  • Original letter of employment or 3 recent pay stubs
  • Proof establishing the purpose of your trip
  • Proof of health/travel/accident insurance

I have done my MS-IT from Preston University Gujranwala Campus in 2003, Since then I am working in a company as Export Manager, I want to resume my eduction in Finland or sweden, What are the chances? Does Age factor count in this regard?

In the aftermath of 9/11, Pakistani students faced long security clearances and a myriad of other problems in obtaining student visas for the US and the UK. This led many of them to explore other avenues of higher education, including many European countries. Initially, among the Scandinavian countries, Denmark, which then offered free education to foreign students, was the first choice of many students. But after Denmark started charging foreign students in 2006, many turned towards Sweden, which also offers free education to both, local and foreign students. Since then, Sweden has become one of the more popular destinations among Pakistani students. According to the statistics, about 1,177 Pakistani students were granted visas to Sweden for the academic year 2006-07. A large number of students from India and China are also pursuing higher education in Sweden.

Hello everyone,
I’ve got admission in ‘Engineering and Management in Information Systems (EMIS)’ program at KTH (sweden) and i’ve also got admission in EMSE (European Masters in Software Engineering’ for the session of 2008-2010. One thing i’m confused about is that should i go for this or not? is it worth it to go to sweden to pursue higher studies in computers? How about the job prospects after studies? i want you guyz to guide me in this regard. Anyone who has done his/her MS in sweden could be a great help..

Many people who have financial problem go to Sweden for masters as it is free of cost and there is no tuition fee.

Is it worth it? What are the future prospects with MBA from sweden?
